Eligibility
Conditions for obtaining a business and investment residence permit
The company has operated in Lithuania for at least 6 months. The company employs full-time staff who are citizens of Lithuania, EU or EFTA countries, or foreigners with a permanent residence permit in Lithuania, with a combined monthly salary of at least 2 average monthly wages. The company’s own capital is at least EUR 28,000. The applicant is a manager or shareholder holding at least 1/3 of the share capital (worth at least EUR 14,000).
Same company requirements as above. The applicant is the manager and must confirm the purpose of arrival is to work in the company.
The company has operated in Lithuania for at least 6 months and created at least 5 jobs for Lithuanian/EU/EFTA citizens or foreigners permanently residing in the Republic of Lithuania. The applicant has invested at least EUR 260,000 in the company’s capital and holds an equivalent share as manager or shareholder.
The company’s own capital is at least EUR 500,000, with at least 10 jobs created for Lithuanian, EU or EFTA citizens, or foreigners with a permanent residence permit in Lithuania, paying no less than the national average wage. The applicant is the head of the company and confirms the purpose of arrival is to work there.
Process
Procedure for obtaining a business and investment residence permit
At the time of your visit to the Migration Department, your stay in Lithuania must be lawful. The application can be filed through an external provider if you are outside Lithuania.
